La sombra, tema artístico que representa en manera preculiar cada época, se desarolla a través de las manos de los artistas. La presente exposición se propone un percurso en la historia del arte, relevando caracterìsticas y problemas suscitado por la representación de la sombra desde el Renacimiento hasta nuestros días.
Madrid explores shadow in the exhibition actually in Thyssen Bornemisza, museum of Madrid. ‘Shadow’ will be in Madrid till May and it wants to explore the use of shadow throughout history. One girl, one lover and his profile drawn in the soft light of a candle. In this way Pliny the Elder narrated the beginning of art. Shadow is a great subject and through the eyes of different artists the exhibition creates an enlighten route in the history of art, from the Renaissance Period right up to the present day.
